Welcome to the University Villages Blog. The goal for this blog is to not only feature events, but to give residents a way of connecting more with the people in their area and the community assistants that roam around the villages.
I think we need security cameras. We have had bicycles and baby trailer stolen from craighead(locks and all). The recent cornerstone had an entire flyer devoted to recent "suspicious activity" in the area. Our rent goes up every year yet no new services are provided. Security cameras would be a boon to our community.
I'm having a hard time figuring this blog thing out. I've tried to post on here to upload pics of the area but I can only post comments to previous posts. There isn't a edit text button on here, probably only an option for the owner of the blog.
I agree with mizslack we do need security cameras now the campus has them why can't there be a few put out here to cover the parking lots and bike rakes and put them on the wash house's to keep them safe and people who walk around at night and even cover those back lots and racks and let the resident mangers have some kind of access as well as the main office and public safety to it via by computer then if they see or hear of some thing like vandal's or theft or fighting they could go online to view it as they are reporting it to public safety and it is also being recorded for there records
I would just like to thank the community assistance for all they do. We moved here in june and have had a great time doing all the free activite provided to us. keep up the good work, and see you at the next event.
Are we able to upload images? I have some pictures of wildlife from behind our apartment that I'd like to share.
ReplyDeleteYes you can. If you click on the html tab in the edit text area there is a small icon for adding pictures.
